Istanbul to Host the New Technologies Shaping the Global Security Agenda

The Region's Largest Security Fair, ISAF International 2026, Will Bring the Security Industry Together for the 30th Time

International Players of Security Technologies Meet in Istanbul

ISAF International, organized under the hosting of Marmara Fuarcılık, is preparing to open its doors for the 30th time this year. The fair, which will feature 200+ exhibitors from 10 countries, will bring together the fields of security, fire safety, cybersecurity, smart buildings, and occupational health and safety under one roof. In addition to the conferences to be held as part of the fair, different security technologies—from drone and K9 applications to firefighting demonstrations—will be experienced through real-world use scenarios.

Changing security balances in the world are reshaping the risk management approach of countries and companies. Border security, protection of critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, energy security, fire safety, and business continuity are now among the important topics not only of security policies but also of companies' investment and sustainable growth strategies. Türkiye, which holds a strategic position in terms of access to Europe, the Middle East, the Caucasus, the Balkans, Central Asia, and North Africa, stands out as one of the important centers connecting different markets in the field of security technologies.

Opening its doors for the 30th time this year, ISAF International will bring together the fair, conferences, international professional organizations, brands, public representatives, technology manufacturers, and security professionals in Istanbul. The fair, to be held at Istanbul Expo Center on October 7–10, 2026, will be an international platform where new technologies, current approaches, and commercial cooperation opportunities in the fields of security, fire safety, smart buildings, cybersecurity, and occupational health and safety will be discussed.

Preparing to host 200 exhibitors from 10 countries in a 20,000-square-meter fair area, ISAF International 2026 aims to bring together more than 15,000 professional visitors in Istanbul over four days. With this structure, ISAF International 2026 aims to contribute to the development of knowledge, technology, and trade connections between Türkiye and the international security ecosystem.

International Security Organizations in Istanbul

One of the important highlights strengthening the international structure of ISAF International 2026 will be the participation of international professional organizations operating in the fields of security and occupational health and safety. CoESS, ASIS Europe, NEBOSH, CFPA-E, IOSH, and ENSHPO will come together with industry professionals in Istanbul as part of the fair and conference program. With the participation of international organizations, ISAF will strengthen its direction of being not only a fair where products and technologies are exhibited but also an international platform for knowledge and cooperation where global standards, experiences, and current industry approaches are shared.

The New Agenda of Security Investments Will Be Put on the Table

In the conference program consisting of 20+ sessions to be held as part of ISAF International 2026, more than 40 domestic and foreign speakers are planned to meet with industry professionals.

In the conferences, which will include representatives of international organizations, public institutions, fire departments, academics, and industry professionals; the protection of critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and security, fire safety, electric vehicle and battery fires, the security of data centers and critical technological facilities, fire safety in industrial facilities, forest fires, occupational health and safety culture, and emergency and disaster management will be addressed.

From Drones to K9, Technology Will Be Experienced in the Field

At ISAF International 2026, next-generation security technologies will not only be exhibited but also experienced through scenarios close to real-world conditions. Drone security applications, K9 dog security demonstrations, firefighting applications, live demonstrations, security scenarios, and simulations will be carried out throughout the fair.

Thanks to the hands-on content, industry professionals will have the opportunity to evaluate new technologies not only through their technical specifications but also through their operational areas of use. Manufacturers and solution providers, on the other hand, will be able to introduce the systems they have developed directly to professional visitors.
